"Hi, I'm Anna and I'm a local Christchurch Artist. I draw native birds, because what better inspirationfor art than New Zealand's wonderful wildlife? I love going for hikes into the mountains and hearing birdsong. These beautiful native birds an absolute pleasure to draw. I love to highlight patterns in their feathers by layering different textures of brush strokes. I hope my art illustrates the birds beauty! The waxeye print was inspired by valentines day, I wanted to draw two birds who appeared to be 'in love'"
